H.E. Mor Theethos Yeldho was ordained the Archbishop and the Patriarchal Vicar for the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America on 4th January 2004 by His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas. The consecration ceremony was held at the St.Peter & St.Paul's Cathedral in the Monastery of St.Aphrem the Syrian, at Ma'arrat Seydnaya, Damascus, Syria. His Eminence is the fourth archbishop of the 'Malankara Archdiocese in North America'.

Born on 22 July 1970 to Pathikkal P M Kuriakose and Sosamma, His Grace belongs to the Perumbavur Bethel Suloko Church in the Ankamaly diocese, India. He did his schooling at the Ashramam High School, Perumbavur, undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics from the Union Christian College at Alwaye, and B.Ed. degree from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. At the age of 12, on 28 October 1982, he was ordained deacon by Mor Athanasius Paulose, the late Bishop of the Evangelical Association of the East. The theological education of the Metropolitan was at the Syrian Orthodox Seminary at Damascus and the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary at Udayagiri, India. Later he attained the Master of Divinity Degree from St.Valdimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, New York. His Eminence had done his research at the Syrian Orthodox Monasteries of Jerusalem, Turkey, Holland, Germany and Switzerland.

On 26 September 1998, he was tonsured a monk (Raban) by His Holiness the Patriarch and on 05 September 1999 ordained Kassisso. After the demise of Mor Gregorios in 1999, he was appointed the administrator of the Perumpally St.George Church. Later he was deputed to New York and had been serving in different churches of the Malankara Archdiocese of North America. From 1995 to 2001, he was actively involved in YMCA as its regional vice chairman and also as its National Executive Board member.

His Eminence is the only prelate from Malankara to receive five ordinations (Sub-deacon, Full Deacon, Raban, Priest & Metropolitan) from the Supreme Head of our Church H.H Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas.
